Shipping Policy

1. Where we ship

We ship within India only. A small number of remote PIN codes may be temporarily non-serviceable; if yours is, we will notify you within 3 working days and either propose an alternative arrangement or refund you in full.


2. Dispatch schedule

Monthly subscriptions: if we receive your payment on or before the 20th of the month, your subscription begins with that same month's issue, and your first dispatch happens within 1 to 2 weeks of payment. If we receive your payment after the 20th, your subscription begins with the following month's issue. From the second issue onwards, dispatches go out between the 5th and 15th of each cover month.

  

3. Delivery time after dispatch

Metro cities: 3 to 6 working days. Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities: 5 to 10 working days. North-Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep: 7 to 15 working days. Please note that these are estimated delivery timelines and not guaranteed delivery commitments. Delivery timelines may vary depending on our courier and postal partners, serviceability of the location, weather conditions, public holidays, government-declared holidays/ad-hoc holidays, strikes, or other unforeseen logistical delays.


4. Courier partners

We dispatch through India Post (Magazine Post / Registered Book Post) and private couriers including Delhivery, DTDC, Bluedart, Shree Maruti and Trackon. The partner used depends on your PIN code. Tracking is provided wherever the partner supports it; India Post Book Post offers limited tracking, which is a postal-system constraint we cannot override. Some private couriers confirm delivery using an OTP sent by SMS to your registered mobile number, so please keep that phone reachable around your delivery date.


5. Accurate address is your responsibility

Please double-check your shipping address, PIN code, recipient name, mobile number and a clear landmark before placing the order. Incomplete or incorrect addresses are the single biggest cause of failed delivery.


6. Incomplete or undeliverable addresses

If a shipment is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, an unreachable recipient or mobile number, or any similar reason on the delivery side, we will contact you and re-ship the issue once at no extra cost. Any subsequent re-ships for the same issue are payable by you at actual courier cost, in advance. If you would prefer not to proceed with further re-ships, we will not be able to offer a refund, since both the original dispatch and the complimentary re-ship have already been borne by us.


7. Change of delivery location after placing the order

If you need to change the delivery address after buying the subscription, please inform us IMMEDIATELY by emailing hello@asymmetrical.ai from your registered email with mobile number ,order number and the new address. We will do our best to update the address before dispatch.

(a) For subscriptions, address change requests received on or before the 25th of the month apply to the following month's issue. Requests received after the 25th apply from the issue after that.

(b) If a shipment has already been handed to the courier, we cannot recall it. If it returns to us undelivered, we will re-ship it to the updated address once at no extra cost. Any further re-ships for the same issue are payable by you at actual courier cost, in advance.


8. School and institutional addresses

Magazines dispatched to school addresses during the standard summer break (1 May – 15 June) and the long Diwali break may be returned by the school. We will hold and re-dispatch returned issues where possible, but cannot guarantee delivery during vacation periods. Subscribers using a school address are encouraged to provide a residential address for these months.


9. Damaged, wet, or missing items

If your package arrives visibly damaged, wet, or with a missing item, please email hello@asymmetrical.ai within 7 days of receipt with photographs of the package and contents as received. Verified claims are replaced free of charge.


10. Lost in transit

A shipment is treated as lost in transit if there is no tracking movement for 15 calendar days after dispatch (or 21 calendar days for India Post Book Post). We will then dispatch a free replacement.


11. Force majeure

Delivery timelines are extended for events outside our reasonable control: monsoon and floods, civil disturbances, strikes, lockdowns, public-health emergencies, courier-network disruptions and similar events. We will keep you updated by email and WhatsApp.
